Ah-Dron Meditation House and Farm is located in Warwick, New York on the scenic Bellvale Lakes Road. Deeply inspired by the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the name Ah-Dron was given to this community by the teacher and writer Elizabeth Mattis Namgyel. AH is a seed syllable which represents the source of creativity, DRON means lamp.
Ongoing Meditation
Ah-Dron hosts meditation with a focus on the practice of Shamatha, or calm abiding meditation. We will also introduce the practice of “The Four Immeasurables” in coming months, which cultivates qualities of equanimity, loving-kindness, compassion, and appreciative joy.
